(Who am I?)
Through migrating from my home country, I came to understand that change, while challenging, can also create opportunities for growth. My skills have developed through practice, persistence, and exposure to new environments.
I love my family deeply. As one of two daughters, I grew up watching my parents make the brave decision to emigrate together across two different countries. Those journeys strengthened our bond and shaped us into a resilient family, united in the pursuit of a better life.
In choir, I learned to see singing not an innate gift but a skill developed through practice, much like learning to speak or reason. Now, as a Molecular and Cellular Biology student aspiring to attend medical school, I carry that lesson with me, approaching challenges as opportunities to demonstrate growth and capability rather than inadequacy.
Running has become my way to push my limits. This year, I'm aiming to complete my first 10k. I love running, there is not much to say about it!
(Beyond my interests)
There's something about finding your place in a harmony. You can't just sing your part, you have to actually listen to everyone around you. The same applies to medicine and research.
